Posey Cemetery and Chapel

The story: A century and a half ago the church was burnt down and the preacher hung himself from a tree right after the front gate entrance. At night you can see the activity under the pavilion that is where the chapel once stood. Red eyes can be seen and a red light of some sort can be seen moving through the woods. Also many orbs are seen in this area, you may also hear a woman singing and someone playing a guitar in the background. Also the KKK have where known for hanging people by the trees in this cemetery.

It has also been said there this is where one of the worst murders in Indiana was executed and buried.

Our Encounter: Our encounters at the Posey Cometary was minimal. As we entered through the front gates we immediately saw an awning, where the church once stood. We took note of the "red eyes" and looked very diligently for them with no avail. After we snapped some pictures we heard quite a few noises from animals, chimes, and banging. Further investigation lead us to a barn towards the back of the cemetery. The barn was located off the cemetery property and seemed like it was quite active and housed many animals. It was 2AM and the lights in the barn where on, and there was activity in it.

For the chiming, we noticed on selected headstones there was wind chimes placed. So we were able to rule out the animals, wind chimes, and the banging. We also took some pictures of the tree that the KKK used to hang people throughout the early 19th century. We did a thorough scan of the entire graveyard and found nothing. We took plenty of pictures and found some interesting orbs, but nothing out of the ordinary. If you find anything in the Posey Cemetery gallery please shoot us an email and let us know.

Coolest grave, by far!
This road just looked awesome while driving so we snapped a picture.
Left side of picture is blurred for some reason.
